What are macros? This is a term that is becoming very popular lately. Macros are energy containing molecules that make up the foods we eat. The three main macronutrients are carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Counting macros, or flexible dieting, is a great way to learn how to nourish your body in order to meet your goals. It is a tool to help you understand your body’s nutritional needs and ,for some, it can help you develop a better relationship with food.

When tracking your macros correctly you can expect to make slow, but sustainable change. This is NOT a quick fix. Diets that promise you fast results will often end up failing and eventually lead you to regain that lost weight. This is because those diets are not sustainable long-term. We often hear the saying “slow and steady wins the race.” That is exactly what flexible dieting is. It requires you to be patient, while slowly and gradually reaching your goals. The end result is a lifestyle that is sustainable.

Please note, I will NOT calculate any macros for fast results. There will most likely be no recalculations done. It often takes about four weeks to dial into your macronutrients. Recalcs will likely only be an option if you stack on additional weeks of accountability or opt for a 1:1 coaching program. With that being said, please realize that this program is NOT a 1:1 coaching program. If you feel that you need more in-depth support please check out my other coaching packages.

Those who are looking to track their macros in order to reach their goals (whether that be lose, gain or maintain their weight). This program is for beginner macro trackers, as well as those who are slightly familiar and looking for a jump start into achieving their goals. This program is also only for those looking to make slow and steady sustainable change. I will NOT calculate macros for quick results.

This is not a 1:1 coaching program. Your macros will be calculated specifically for your individual needs and goals based on the responses you give in your initial questionnaire. Realize, if you don’t currently know the amount of calories you are eating it will take a little time to get your correct numbers. It’s all about being consistent and trusting in the process to find where you should be.

Your email check-ins will also be done directly with myself and will receive individualized responses and support.

That being said, this is specifically a macros program and it is only two weeks long. If you are looking for more in-depth coaching (that could include recalcs, habit building, fitness plans, etc.)  please check out my 1:1 coaching programs.

This program is not for you if you are pregnant. If you are looking for nutrition/fitness coaching during pregnancy please check out my 1:1 coaching programs. I believe you should have much more individualized and in-depth support during this time. I am a certified pre and postnatal coach through Girls Gone Strong.

Yes, you can however I will not calculate macros for weight loss unless you are at least 12 weeks postpartum.

  • If you are in need of more in-depth coaching
  • If you are not ready to devote consistency to this plan (including weighing/measuring all foods daily – yes weekends too, answering check-in emails in a timely manner, etc.)
  • If you are looking for a quick fix and fast results. I will NOT calculate macros for fast results. I will only calculate macros for slow and steady change.
  • If you have obsessive tendencies towards food or a history of disordered eating habits (in this case I would recommend more in-depth coaching and meeting with a registered dietician)
