Air Fryer Balsamic Chicken, Fig & Burrata Pizza

When I started creating and posting recipes here, I had no intention of making the majority of the pizza recipes. In fact, I didn’t even realize how much I loved pizza until I kept creating different kinds.

So here we are with another pizza recipe, but instead of using my usual pizza crust, Crustology, I’m using pita bread as the crust.

You can use any kind of pita bread you like, but I love the Joseph’s Bakery brand!

A family favorite when we go out for fancy pizzas is always a fig & prosciutto pizza, which is how I got the inspiration for this pizza. I always have a jar of fig jam in my fridge, and after a trip to Trader Joe’s where I got some burrata and grilled balsamic chicken, this pizza was a no brainer.

The best part about this recipe is you can have it done in less than 10 minutes between putting it together and cooking it in the air fryer!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Joseph’s Original Pita Bread
  • 1 oz Burrata Cheese
  • 2.5 oz Trader Joe’s Grilled Balsamic Vinegar & Rosemary Chicken
  • 10 g Fig Preserves/Spread
  • 15 g Part Skim Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 10 g Arugula
  • 6 mL Fig Balsamic Glaze

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees.
  2. Spread fig jam over the pita bread and top mozzarella cheese.
  3. Then top the pita with the burrata cheese, followed by the grilled chicken breast.
  4. Cook in air fryer for 5 minutes (make sure you keep an eye on it & cook to your liking).
  5. Once pizza is done in the air fryer, top with arugula, followed by a drizzle of balsamic glaze on top.
  6. Cut into 4 slices and enjoy!
