While I aim to get the majority of my protein from whole food sources, sometimes we just need that quick option to grab and go! Since it’s #NationalCandyCaneDay I wanted to share with you one of my favorite on-the-go, minty, protein packed options!

Peppermint Protein Shake!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:
1/2 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 c light coconut milk
1/2 c non fat Greek yogurt
1/2 c frozen cauliflower rice
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
10-15 drops liquid stevia

Blend all ingredients in a blender (except the candy cane joe joe). Once blended, place the candy cane joe joe in a ziploc bag and use the bottom of a cup to crush it. Sprinkle the crushed cookie on top of the smoothie and enjoy!
